Each year the IBM Matching Grants Program matches employee contributions to U-M 3:1 in the form of equipment donations. The U-M Unit IT Steering Committee solicits proposals from faculty and staff in the spring and awards the equipment in summer. In 2011, donated equipment worth $120,000 was awarded to ten U-M research teams launching new efforts in science and technology. Below is the list of award recipients.
