IT Shared Service Governance
ITS is committed to operating as a Shared Services Provider, a model where faculty, students, and staff help shape priorities and are very involved in oversight of services—addressing quality, cost, and adoption. This governance structure provides shared oversight, and the campus community is encouraged to provide feedback to ensure service quality.
Current IT Shared Service Advisory Groups
Shared Service Governance plays an important role in providing unified IT services across campus. These advisory groups regularly provide input on improvement priorities, service level expectations, and adoption levels. They are charged to provide a strong customer voice that guides the delivery of specific shared services.

Shared Service Governance Council
A U-M Shared Service Governance Council will be created to oversee the service delivery of all shared services, including ITS and Administrative Services Transformation. The Governance Council is chaired by the Provost.
